Hi! I’m going to submit my first ever ms this friday. =) Hopefully isa pa next week kasi patapos na rin. Ask ko lang kung paano ko malalaman kung ok ba yung ms ko. Then paano din yung payment (if ever) =)

@ Darilyn: Ay congrats sa submission! You just have to follow up on your ms after three weeks. Email mo ulit sila after that, then sasabihin ng AE ang current status ng ms mo. Payment is by check, usually a month after your ms gets accepted. They can send you the check kung wala ka sa Manila. Kung nasa Manila ka naman, you can pick it up sa office ng Bookware

Hi po! Big fan po ako ng MSV since I was twelve, at isa ka sa pinaka-fav kong writers. Nabasa ko yung isa sa mga books ng Sentinel series and because of that na-curious ako about sa mga NAVY Seals.
Tanong ko lang po sana kung paano gumawa ng resume for submission sa MSV. I know this sounds stupid pero wala talaga akong idea how to write resumes. T_T Thanks po.
Hi, Natascha! Thanks sa comment! At natuwa naman ako at natuwa ka sa mga books at sa mga SEALs ^^
Anyway, okay lang kung wala kang idea kung paano magsulat ng resume! Ako rin noon no’ng bago pa lang ako nag-aapply for work, hindi ko rin alam kung paano ako gagawa. Nagpaturo pa talaga ako. Simple lang naman. Sa heading, write your name, address and your contact information (phone number, mobile number and email), tapos after that, list down mo ‘yung educational background mo. Saan ka nag-elementary, high school and college at anong date, kelan ka nag-graduate (college, kung college grad ka. Kung undergrad ka naman, sulat mo lang kung anong year ka na, saka kung anong course mo), then list down your work experience. Kung wala pa, okay lang naman ‘yon. Sa MSV naman kasi kahit wala ka pang work experience, kahit educational background lang.

Wow thank you po ng madami! Yehey, at least ang unfinished manuscript na lang ang problema ko ngayon. Haha. Ay, may isa pa po akong tanong, isa na lang po talaga, promise. Kapag ba below 18 kailangan ng parent consent or something? kasi po 15 pa lang po ako ang 4th year HS.
Naku, try mo na lang sila i-email para sure tayo. Hindi ko kasi alam kung anong mga requirements kapag minor ang writer. Pero may mga writers na ka-age mo so hindi factor ‘yon sa pagkakaroon ng accepted manuscript. Basta ba tapos yung ms hehehe Email mo sila sa info@bookwarepublishing.com. Sorry ha. Kasi hindi ko talaga alam ^^
