Sentinels Book 10: Rebel Mine

*squeals* sa wakas ni-release na sina derick at pol!! NBS here i go!!

hahahaha sa tingin ko maeenjoy naman silang basahin ng mga readers highly anticipated na rin sila based sa dami ng mga nagtatanong about books 9 and 10 personally, i’m looking forward malaman ano ba talaga reason at nabaril si daddy joseph and kung tama ang naalala ko parang connected din ata ang stories ni pol at derick so that makes it more interesting. parang stories ni cam at mac magkadugtong din basta susugod ako sa NBS this weekend at magbabakasakaling andun na sila!

ay nakabili na ako kahapon…..super ganda….

ms. elise, you pulled a rabbit out of a hat with derick’s characterization in this story. (spoiler alert for those who haven’t read the book yet) i seriously didn’t expect that he would be the first character who would be part of the Sentinels team and at the same time still on active AFP duty. i really like this twist (if it is proper to call it as such) i think it gives more flexibility to the series looking back i guess you left a clue regarding this in dark warrior. if my memory serves me correctly, after mallory was rescued, it was mentioned by derick’s character that he would like to remain with the ISAFP because he could better serve the Sentinels and AFP in that way. honestly, when you mentioned that book 10 would be derick’s story and cammie will be his heroine i really thought by this time he already had an honorable discharge from active duty and what would be special about him was that he was brave enough to date cammie in spite of all her bodyguards that goes by the name cam, mac, donnie, riley, joseph and john.

if , in my opinion, the story of Pol also tackled on what people can do for the person they love (Pol for his Kuya Les and Quinn for her amain) the story of Derick and Cammie gave importance to family. as a reader, we got to see how grateful Cammie and Derick was of the family that they have and how important this family is to them. Yes, there is still the usual “kilig” moments between them however, it was really good to read on how they interact with their family members (Derick with his mom and Cammie with the Herreras).

i really really enjoyed reading this. still can’t get over the fact that there is a character in the Sentinels series who is still on active AFP duty. good job! (again ). as a series fan, you have kept me on my toes because of this development. looking forward for more sentinels to come

ginulat talaga ako ni trinidad! i was like aha! pwede pala sa sentinels yung active duty pa rin sila sa AFP. ayos ito ha. kasi technically parang sa lahat ng members si mac na lang yung active duty eh Navy SEAL pa siya hehehe sa totoo lang ang major motivation ko kung bakit gusto ko mabasa ang story ni derick ay curious talaga ako malaman ang reason kung bakit nabaril si daddy joe. pero unexpected talaga na naenjoy ko ang pagbabasa ng story nila ni cammie. with pol kasi medyo alam ko nang maeenjoy ko ang story anuman ang maging takbo nun kasi si pol as a character natutuwa talaga ako sa kanya si derick well let’s just say ang tumatak sa utak ko eh member siya ng ISAFP at gusto siya ipa-recruit ni mallory kay cam sa sentinels. wala masyado sa personality factor hehehe at least ngayon, well for me at least, he made his own mark.

i do believe i will be a series fan for a long time. after all may inaabangan pa ko, yung stories ni randall at ni matt riley tapos lumabas na rin sa mga libro yung mga anak ng first batch ng sentinels. more characters, more interesting series and i noticed dumadami rin kaming fans. madami nang nagiiwan ng message for you dito sa site mo hehehe
