Playing around with my iPod and wishing that I can afford to upgrade it when the 4th gen Touch becomes available, I love Achimou (my ageing, 1st gen iPod Touch). I have a wonderful relationship with him (yes, for those of you who don’t know me, I name all my gadgets and they’re all males). I think I’m naming the next one Mackenzie because I’m sure he’s going to be my new boyfriend haha
Anyway, here are a few pics that I took.
This is my latest home screen with the apps I mostly use. MeDaily is a journal type app which I use to write my everyday thank you list. Then there’s an Office app which I use to write manuscripts. Awesome Note is a pretty cool note app with a to-do list, scheduler and stuff. I’m a chronic list maker so I find it very useful. Readdle Docs is where I put my ebooks in. AppBox is an all-around app which has… pretty much everything. It has a converter, Google apps, translator, period tracker, calendar, alarm clock, flashlight, etc. Then there’s Facebook and Twitter.

My latest MeDaily entry. I love it because it’s like a mini-blog where you can put a pic and add music. I’ve never tried posting the entries online though. And I don’t think I’d want to.

I love audiobooks. I know some people don’t enjoy them but I do. These audiobooks are practically the ones that don’t leave Achimou. I’m listening to all the Harry Potter audiobooks again in preparation for Deathly Hallows. Ha! I just finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and am half-way through Prisoner of Azkaban. And the Linda Howard audiobooks are my favorites.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually playing games. These two are my current favorites. Cookie Dozer, which is the yummiest game I’ve ever played so far, and Plants vs Zombies. I finally gave in and bought the thing because I wanted to be able to play it even if my laptop, Ced was resting.

And this is the office app. I only got the one that supports Windows Word. I didn’t get the one with Excel because I don’t think I’d use it, plus it was more expensive. I need WiFi to be able to move documents from the iPod to the laptop but it’s not a big inconvenience. I wish Apple would allow for the use of the iPod Touch as a flashdrive. I don’t really have access to WiFi and I’d like to be able to bring files along, maybe through iTunes? I’m not sure if it’s possible with the new iPod and iTunes 10… Anyway, here’s a pic of the app, and the first paragraph of daddy Joseph Herrera’s ms

Try looking at DropBox. It’s a file storage service with free 2GB. I know it can sync between computers & iPod devices so you can move your files from the laptop to there to iPod. Of course, you need a net connection but it’s pretty useful.

@ Kat: Sige, will try. Kaso I want to be able to do it without a net connection. Yung I just have to copy/paste files or sync with iTunes or something. Ganyan din kasi sa Readdle docs eh. I have to upload to the site pa then sync over WiFi with the iPod. Hay.

Downside of iPods/iPhones: You can’t just drag & drop stuff into them like memory cards or other phones pfft.
@ kat : wala akong ganyang problema. smartphones and smart gadgets are too smart for me, ako yung nagha-hang kapag ginamit ko sila.
