Dumaguete Day 1

Quick post. Tamad kasi ako mag-post ng bonggang-bongga ngayon eh.

November 22

  • Was at the airport before 5 a.m. Got through security and checked-in. Boarded at 6:30 a.m. for the 7 a.m. flight. Awesome, awesome. Sorry, flight virgin so was really thrilled to be on the plane. Thank you to our pilots, and flight crew. Great experience for me :) lalo na kasi ang bait nung FA na naka-assign sa parte ko ng eroplano. I wish I got his name para man lang makapag-thank you dito. My flight was PR 291, so thank you po sa crew at that time.

Morning at Centennial Terminal 2

  • Got to DGT at 8:12 a.m. Found my bag, then met Jette.

Dumaguete Airport

  • Dropped my stuff at home, then went to the boulevard to ogle the sea, and had brekkie (bistek na tapa, fried rice and scrambled eggs) at Why Not? Deli. Why Not talaga yung pangalan ng kainan. Was still too happy to be here kaya ‘di ko nakunan ng picture yung dagat pero since babalik naman kami, pagsasawain ko kayo sa pictures next time.
  • Went to Lee Super Plaza to buy cooking utensils and groceries. Ipagluluto kasi ako ni Jette ng pasta.
  • Had a great lunch at the cutest, funnest, most comfortable restaurant I’ve ever been in, Gabby’s Bistro. Will take more pictures next time. Had Fish n’ Fries and lemonade. Jette had a grilled shrimp dish. Dessert was apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. You should eat there to believe how good the food is, and how great the decor and ambiance are. They have WiFi, too!

  • Went home for nap. Jette napped; I read Pugad Baby 21 and had to snicker quietly para ‘di siya ma-istorbo.
  • Had a shower while Jette cooked her version of ratatouille. Tinkered with Cedric because he wouldn’t connect to the Internet. Looked at Jette’s pics on her lappie while watching Travel Asia on TV.
  • Had dinner before going back to Gabby’s for Mud Dirt Cup, this really, really good dessert with chocolate mousse, cream, and candy sprinkles, and there are a couple of gummy worms hiding in it. Also had a king cola on the rocks margarita while Jette drank coffee.
  • Joy-ride! Nag-drive lang si Jette while I wanted to hang my head out the window like a dog to feel the wind on my face.
  • After we got home, I washed the dishes, brushed my teeth and fell asleep like a rock while Jette worked on writing TJ.

Day 1 pa lang yun :)
