I was killing time reading tweets when I caught one from @sagada saying that one of the places I have on high-priority on my places-I-want-to-visit list, Yoghurt House, has a Twitter account (@yoghurthouse). And for some reason, it seemed to spark something in me.
So I opened my formatted MS, scanned the pages, then hit my forehead when I realized I misspelled the name of the restaurant. I spelled it as “Yogurt House” instead of “Yoghurt House” with the “H”. I wanted to call the ms back but as our AE told me the last time I was at my publisher, my book has already been sent to the printers. Dangnamit!
So if my editor (ate Ellen, ikaw pa ba?) didn’t take it out or wasn’t able to edit the restaurant’s name, I’d like to apologize in advance. It’s not my nature to be careless with names. My college profs made sure of that (I was a journ major, and if you were a journ major under Sir Rolly Fernandez, you know to be careful).
So, I’m really, really sorry in advance, and I’m crossing my fingers when the book comes out in December.
Follow Yoghurt House on Twitter here.
You can also check out VisitSagada.com here for more information on Yoghurt House. It just makes me want to hit myself harder because this is the exact page I got info on the resto and they spelled the name correctly *cries*
Hindi tuloy ako mapakali. Nakakahiya sa Yoghurt House!

Hala ka! Hehe. Just kidding.
When I was writing about my trip to Sagada I wasn’t sure about the spelling either, kasi iba yung spelling nila from the usual yogurt. I don’t know if I ever took a picture of their sign tho.
Dammit, now I’m craving for their chicken & pasta platter and a nice bowl of their special yoghurt.
Naiinis nga ako sa sarili ko eh, kung bakit naoverlook ko yun kaya ayan. Inaatake ako ng ka-OC-han. Alam mo naman ako… matagal bago ako maka-get over dito hahaha
