Up and About at Three in the Morning

I’m downloading an audiobook and listening to another one while psyching myself to seriously start writing Miguel’s story, ignoring my aching tummy and the siren call of the giant marshmallows in the fridge. I really, really want to write Miguel’s story but I’m so lazy too, gah!

Anyway, I signed up for another account on Twitter. If you wanna, clickity click here and start following ^_^

Okay, okay. I’m going to to start writing… and I’m going to pop one, just one, marshmallow. Maybe two, since they’re fat-free anyway. Left over from Christmas. How did your Christmas go?

Updates

* Looks like January would be a good month. Got word that MSV would put Crescent Heart on the line up on January, so Noah’s story would be up early 2009. Yey!

* Also, the Crescent Heart Contest is going well. Thanks for those who commented that they want to join. The comments will remain invisible, but I’ve already listed down your names (nicknames, aliases, etc.) so don’t worry. Everyone will have a fair chance of winning. Good luck to everyone! And I’m really excited. Salamat talaga sa pagsali :D

* I’ve also received word that Playing for Keeps has been approved! Double yey! *does the happy, happy dance* Good thing too because Miguel has been bugging me to finally write his story. My paranormal has been put on hold because of that, but I still need input from friends to get that going anyway.

Crescent Heart Contest

I’ve had an incredible year and I want to say thank you to everyone who has been a part of that: my family, my many, many friends, and you, the people who buy my books, read my stories, and leave me comments and e-mails that inspire me to do what I do.

So, as a thank you, I’m going to have a little (low-budget, because I’m poor hehe) contest for the people who visit my blog. Everyone who joins will have a chance to win an ORIGINAL UNEDITED COPY of the previously unpublished third story in the Callanta trilogy, Noah’s story, Crescent Heart (printed fresh from my laptop hehe).

I don’t know when MSV would release the book because I haven’t heard anything yet from Miss Apple. So I’m going to print out ONE copy of the book and ship it out to the lucky winner.

So, if you’re interested, here are the very simple mechanics:

Leave me a comment on this entry, saying you want to join the contest. WordPress automatically asks for your e-mail address so be sure to enter one that you use and check.

OR

Send me an e-mail (elise.estrella[at]gmail.com) saying you want to join the contest.

I’m going to put the names of those who leave comments and e-mails in an online randomizer (random.org) on New Year’s Eve, so I can pick out ONE winner. Contest closes on December 31, let’s say 11 p.m., so be sure to put your comment or send your e-mail before that.

Just to say thank you, thank you, thank you and an advanced Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. God bless!

Irini.

ETA: If you don’t see your comments that’s because I’m keeping them hidden ;) Salamat sa mga nag-comment! Can’t wait to see who wins!

Overwhelmed and Lazy

Okay, okay. I know I promised that I would start writing after watching Twilight last November 26. I stay awake night after night with a mound of ideas for books, but the frustrating part is that I have ideas for five books which all gets mixed up until nothing makes sense anymore.

What I need to do is organize. Since I just submitted Dom’s story, the next one in line is his cousin, Migs’, and Migs’ kuya Anton. After that, I want to start with my paranormal trilogy but I still need to tighten the series. Right now, there are a lot of loose threads that even I would scratch my head when I write/read it. The bad point thing is, even if I face Cedric (my lappie), I don’t write. I’m too lazy to write. I work on my oDesk blogging jobs, and check my PTCs. I check my e-mail and other blogs, but I don’t write.

Okay, right now, I’m downloading an audiobook (I hate Rapidshare). I still have a few hours before it ends. I’ll *try* to write something, especially since Migs has already given me an idea on how his story went. I’ll write… and maybe, work on my blogs more, but I hope to get a few pages in tonight.

Still no word on when Noah will come out, but I’m hoping it’s soon. I’m still biting my nails, praying that people like it. I always get nervous when one of my babies get published. Okay, I’m off to write.

How’s everybody?
