After passing Playing for Keeps, I decided to “rest” for maybe a week or two and pursue other endeavors. It’s weird, not writing. My new characters Migs and Anton are telling me their stories but I just find myself writing something else, like blog entries, and work-related stuff. My paranormal romance has also been on hold for a bit.
The frustrating thing is that the Ibarra trilogy also happens to be my NaNoWriMo entry *dang!* and I have to at least finish Migs’ (or Anton’s) story and half of Anton’s (or Migs’) in six days. Daunting task, that one.
Anyway, I promise to write with a vengeance once the Twilight movie is shown. I think what’s keeping me is that I want to curl up and read something someone else has written rather than slave over Cedric and bleed over a story I need to write. So, I just finished Judith McNaught’s Paradise, and Until You, and I’m debating whether to read her Something Wonderful or one of Nora Roberts’ stories. I’m so late when it comes to Nora Roberts. I just saw the third book in her Signs of Seven trilogy and I haven’t even finished the first one, gah! Oh, well. I’d be able to read them eventually.
Hope everyone has a great week! *goes back to bed and curls up with a book*
