Waiting to Be Free

It’s my last day at work and I can’t wait to fix my home office and get working on Noah’s story. I already have a plot and four chapters. I just need to write the rest of it. I got stuck on something so I might need to delete some parts of it. It usually happens to me that when I get stuck. I just have to change some parts of the story until the characters agree with me and let me go on writing.

I promise to finish Noah’s story before the end of next month.

Oh, and my working title is “Crescent Heart”. I really can’t wait to finish it ^_^

Found It!

My brother, my brother’s GF, my roommate and I went to Megamall the other day and passed by National Bookstore where we found my book *tee hee* And since I took a snap of the first one, I had to take a pic of this one as well. It’s blurred because I had to do it quickly.

Nope, the thrill doesn’t lessen one bit :)

The first time they met sa bus na patungong Baguio, agad nagkahulihan ng loob sina Rebecca at Nicko. Naroon sila pareho para magbakasyon at mag-isip-isip kung paano aayusin ang buhay-buhay nila. And they found more than just a companion in each other.

She was not looking for a boyfriend… pero habang lumilipas ang mga araw na kasama niya ang binata, parang gustong humiling ni Rebecca na higit pa sa pagkakaibigan ang mamagitan sa kanila.

Pero malabo yatang matupad ang wish niya nang akyatin nila ang two hundred fifty steps sa Grotto. May nobyang naghihintay kay Nicko sa Maynila…

Got Some Writing Done

I think I’m gonna delete 3 pages of what I wrote yesterday. I can’t decide whether to use flashback or not… I’ll see how it goes, but the one I wrote last night would really need to be taken out. It just got me stuck which is why instead of working, I ended up watching Heroes instead. Yup, my first time ^_^ As they say, better late… I’ll try to see where the story would take me. A bit frustrating, really. I compensated for writer’s block by taking tons of pics since I  was bored. Here’s one of them.

“Ayokong mag-asawa, pero gusto kong magkaanak.”

Nasamid si Nathan sa gulat nang marinig ang sinabi ni Bethany. Hindi nito marahil inisip na ang tulad niyang tila manang manamit ay may ganoon ka-liberal na plano sa buhay. “Bakit?”

Pinagtaasan niya ito ng kilay. “Why not? I can be as good a provider as any man could be. Hindi porque nag-iisa ako, hindi ko na maaalagaan ang magiging baby ko. So okay lang sa ‘kin na maging sperm donor lang ang kung sino mang magiging ama ng baby ko.” Napansin niyang natahimik si Nathan nang ilang sandali. “What are you thinking?”

Sumilay ang marahang ngiti sa mga labi ng binatang boss. “I’m thinking that if you really want a sperm donor… ako na lang.”

Muntik nang himatayin si Bethany sa narinig.
